Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 July 2026

This policy explains what Iceberg Player (operated by [your legal name / business]) collects and why. We aim to collect as little as possible. You do not need to create an account or give us your name or email to use the Service.

What we store

  • Device record — a generated device ID (shown as a MAC address), the platform (e.g. macOS, Android), activation date, trial/pass status, and when the device was last seen. The device ID is generated on your device; we do not read your hardware’s real MAC address.
  • Your playlists — the M3U URL or Xtream/Stalker login you add for a device. Credential fields are encrypted at rest and are only ever sent back to your own activated device — never shown again in the website.
  • Basic technical logs — standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
  • Local storage in your browser — the manage page remembers the last MAC you entered, on your device only, for convenience.

Payments

Passes are processed by PayPal. PayPal handles your payment details directly — we never receive or store your card or bank information. We store only the fact that a device was paid and the PayPal transaction reference, so we can honour and support your pass.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Iceberg Player, namely our hosting provider, [hosting provider, e.g. your VPS / Render / Fly.io], the website host [Cloudflare Pages], and PayPal for payments. We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep a device record while the device is in use. If you want your device and its playlists deleted, contact us with the device MAC and we will remove them. Server logs are rotated regularly.

Your choices

  • Remove a playlist any time from the manage page (or ask us to delete the whole device).
  • Because there is no account, simply not using a device stops any further data being recorded for it.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
